Wolfpack Athletes Doing Awesome Things

Three of our older Wolfpack athletes competed at some of the nation’s most elite youth track & field meets this spring. Athletes have to be invited or have crazy fast qualifying times to even compete!

Adria F. competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals in the Emerging Elite Division where she placed FIRST in both the 3000m (PR 10:02.67) and the 2 Mile (PR 10:42.20). Emerging Elite athletes are some of the fastest high school athletes in the country, so Adria was one of the youngest competitors in these races! Her times also earned her spots among U.S. High School Rankings: 88th place in the 3000m and 27th place in the 2 Mile. Adria was also invited to compete at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle in June where she placed 9th in the 1600m with a PR of 5:05.33. WAY TO GO, Adria!!

Hunter H. competed in the Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions on May 24th. It took place in Corvallis, Oregon and middle school athletes from four western states competed. To qualify, Hunter had to run a timed 1500m in under five minutes. He placed 14th in the 1500m run with a PR time of 4:37.05.

Hunter also competed in the 3000m run and placed 19th with a PR time of 10:13.76.

Kenny B. also competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals in the middle school division where he placed 24th overall in the 1600m and a PR of 4:48.68. He also placed 24th in 1500m with a PR of 4:30.23. Lastly, he ran in the 800m where he placed 27th with a PR time of 2:07.49. Great job, Kenny!!

We’re so proud of our athletes and LOVE to see where their passion and talent takes them. Great job!!
