This past weekend took us to Davis High School where the Layton High School Track & Field team hosted a track & field meet along with Davis Racecats. We were met with cloudy skies and a threat of rain the whole morning, but only had a few sprinkles.
The day started with the 3000m and all 7 of the runners represented Wolfpack. Everyone finished strong, but the real star was Cooper B who was running the 3000m for the first time. He is significantly younger than the rest of the group (9-10 age division) and he still had 2 laps to go when everyone else was finished. Our teammates all stayed at the finish line to cheer him on. Way to support the Pack!
The morning continued with sprints, mid and long distance races, hurdles, and relays.
Michael C. broke a club record in the 100m with his time of 12.7 seconds!
Ella K. broke the club record in the 400m with her time of 1:04.2!

Overall Wolfpack won as a team by more than 100 points and we had a ton of athletes earn PRs in multiple events.

Our relay reams put on a great showing too with first place finishes for 9-10 boys, 11-12 boys, 13-14 girls, and 13-14 boys. Our 9-10 girls took second place in their race.
