This past weekend Wolfpack was the benefiting sponsor for Runtastic’s Frigid 5k & Penguin Plunge. It’s a fun, annual event with a 5k along parts of the Provo River Trail near Utah Lake.
A handful of athletes and family members from our Wolfpack comp team signed up to race and plunge.
We were warned before the race started that there were a few icy spots on the course. Our athletes were prepared. No pushing hard for PRs today.
What surprised us was a very heavy snowfall for a large portion of the race. Even made it hard to see!
Overall we’re so proud of how our Wolfpack did at this fun race. There were about 700 participants and here’s how our Pack did:

Afterwards, race officials cut away some of the ice on Utah Lake so participants can jump in for the Penguin Plunge!! A few of our brave athletes jumped in!
