2022 Bob Firman Invitational XC Meet

Seven of our middle school athletes made the trek up to Boise, ID this past weekend to compete in the Bob Firman Invitational XC meet. This meet is open to athletes in middle school and high school. It’s known as one of the most competitive XC meets in the country. There were runners from 10 different states competing!

The course, Eagle Island XC Course, is known for being challenging and fast with a mix of grass, sand, packed dirt, and an open hay field. It also boasts a couple of hills meant to really test the competitors. Many state and regional championship races have been there too.

Our Wolfpack did a great job on this super tough course with Adria F. coming in FIRST place in the 7th & 8th Grade Middle School Girls Division with a whopping PR of 10.28:8. She was a full 20 seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher. Way to go Adria!! Teagan H. finished in 15th place and Abby L. took 116th place. There were over 260 girls running in this race too.

In the 7th & 8th Grade Middle School Boys Division, Kenny B. PR’ed with a 10:40.2 in 8th place. Adam M. placed 65th in a group of more than 300 boys.

In the 6th Grade Middle School Girls Division, Emmy F. placed 6th with a PR of 13:06.2 and Orissa L. finished 14th with a SB time of 13:42.2. There were just over 100 girls in this race.
