Wolfpack was featured in the local news twice this track season and we're SO proud of the coverage!

First up: a feature on our athlete Zach!

Zach A. has run with us for two years now and rocks his different legs depending on the event he's competing in. His enthusiasm and attitude are contagious and he's a joy to have on the team. Read the full story here or click on the image above.

Next up: Steeplechase Showcase!

KSL writer Arianne Brown wrote a wonderful piece about the Steeplechase Showcase that's hosted by John Hedengren at BYU. It's grown into quite an event after only three years because so few track athletes get an opportunity to compete. Only a couple of tracks in Utah even have the pit and steeples to host the event, so to get to try it out at a young age is a real treat.

This year in particular, John added a few heats of 400m steeplechase for any athletes to try. At USATF meets, only athletes ages 13 and up can compete in steeplechase, and 99% of the time, even our Utah state championship meet doesn't have it. So for any younger athletes, it's an opportunity to give it a try.
