Come and Run with the Wolves
Join us on Saturday, May 31st at our Wolfpack-hosted track & field meet; Run with the Wolves. Our track and field meet is open to everyone who wants to come and compete ages 6 and up! We invite all of our elementary program athletes to sign up, comp teams near and far, and athletes who are unattached to a team. Our meet is open to all USATF age divisions from 8 and under thru Masters.
We’ll be at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah. All field events will begin at 8:00am. Then we will start the 3000m run at 8:30am. From there we will run multiple races, hurdles, relays, and field events throughout the day. A full schedule of events can be seen below.

Order of Track Events
8:30am
- 3000m run - age 11+
- 80m hurdles - ages 11-12
- 100m hurdles - ages 13-14
- 110m hurdles - ages 15+
- 100m dash
- 1500m run
- 400m dash
- 4x100m relay
- 200m dash
- 200m hurdles - ages 13-14
- 400m hurdles - ages 15+
- 800m run
- 200m dash
- 4x400m relay
Field Events
8:00-10:00am: Long Jump: 10 and under
8:00-10:00am: Shot Put: 10 and under
8:00-10:00am: Javelin: 11 and older
8:00-10:00am: High Jump: Session #1 (the bar will begin at 3'2" for both sessions of HJ. Choose which session will work best for your athlete's schedule.)
10:00am-12:00pm: Long Jump: 11 and older
10:00am-12:00pm: Shot Put: 11 and older
10:00am-12:00pm: Javelin: 10 and under
10:00am-12:00pm: High Jump: Session #2 (the bar will begin at 3'2" for both sessions of HJ. Choose which session will work best for your athlete's schedule.)
*When possible, please have your athletes participate in field events in the designated time slots. If an athlete cannot due to the timing of running races, we will make sure their jumps and/or throws are measured and counted.
*JAVELIN: Due to construction on the fields at Corner Canyon High School this year, we are unsure if we will be able to offer javelin at our meet. We will update as soon as we know. 4/23/25
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is a rolling schedule. We will move ahead whenever possible.
- Please get a bib sticker from you coach before your first event.
- At first call, make your way to the starting line to check in.
- In all running events, the youngest will go first and girls will be followed by boys.
- Open pit means that you may get your marks at any time during the time frame as long as you are in that age division.
- The infield will be primarily closed to everyone except athletes, officials, and volunteers.
REGISTRATION:
- Registration opens April 23.

- All athletes must register ahead of time, registration will close at 7:30pm on Friday, May 30.
- There will be NO day-of registration.
- Cost of the meet is $5 per event or $8 per relay team.
- Coaches must register their relay teams separately from individual events (see below).
RELAYS:
Coaches will register USATF relay teams separate from individual events on Athletic.net. Fee is $8 per relay team. Parents should not register their athletes for relays.
MIXED RELAYS:
We allow mixed age and/or mixed gender relays. To register for these, please DON OT register them on athletic.net. Instead, send an email to Jen: jensepos@gmail.com. Please include Team Name, Relay 4x100 or 4x400, and A or B team if applicable. Fee is $8 per relay team. Please pay thru Venmo: @wolfpackyouthrunning. Teams that are registered but not paid for will not be recorded.

- born 2013-2014: 11-12
- born 2011-2012: 13-14
- born 2009-2010: 15-16
- born 2007-2008: 17-18
- born 2006-: Open/Masters
RULES & CONDUCT:
USA Track & Field Competition Rules will govern. Coaches and parents are responsible for the conduct of their athletes. Failure to maintain proper control or display good sportsmanship may result in the removal of a team or individuals form the further competition, or the expulsion of a coach, parent, or spectator. One the meet begins, only competing athletes and working officials will be allowed on the track or infield, except in the case of medical emergencies.
EQUIPMENT:
The maximum spike length allowed for running and field events is 1/4". Absolutely no needle nose or Christmas tree spikes will be permitted. This will be strictly enforced. Athletes with spikes who do not meet this requirement will not be admitted to their event.
ATHLETE CHECK-IN:
Any athlete not checked in by the last call for their event will be automatically scratched.
