A handful of Wolfpack alumni competed for their respective high school teams at the UHSAA State Championship meet on October 29th. This championship meet is always run on a tough course at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City.
Most notably, our 13-14 girls team from the 2022 cross country season won a USATF JO National Championship title and since then, have been running incredibly well running for their high schools. All four of the young women who were interviewed by RunnerSpace ran as part of that national championship team.
Bridget S. runs for Brighton High School and she placed 3rd in the 5A girls division. She was the FASTEST freshman at the whole 2-day meet with a time of 17:54.2. Way to go Bridget!!
Adria F. runs for Olympus High School and placed 3rd in the 5A girls division as a sophomore.
In 2022, she placed 2nd in the nation and was All-American at the USATF Jr Olympic National Championships in Texas and helped her team take home a national championship title as well. Way to go Adria!!
